For the Love of Shoes

I don't have to state the obvious, but I will...women, for the most part, have some kind of love affair with shoes. So, this personal love of mine has inspired me to make a little board showcasing some colorful shoes for brides. I think colored shoes are a really cute trend that can coordinate with your wedding colors, incorporate wedding traditions (something blue), or even include your groom by asking him to wear colored socks! I like it, I love it, I want some more of it-& I hope you do too:) Happy Planning~Shanna

False Lashes Make Big Splashes

Howdy Yall! When considering having your makeup professionally done on your wedding day, remember that if your lashes are sparse, you can ALWAYS try individual false eyelashes. They can be so beautiful and give that extra pizazz that you are looking for on your special day.

TIP: When focusing a lot of attention on your eyes, remember not to have competing cheeks and lips. Try more subtle shades on those areas. Hope this helps!

Outdoor Family Style Parties

Hello Everybody! With the wonderful possibility of moving to my husband's family property in the very near future, my brain has been spinning with ideas about outdoor entertaining... So, I wanted to share some inspirational pictures that I have been running across and also suggest some party planning ideas as well. If you are having a small gathering, such as a dinner party, bridal shower, or even a small wedding, consider family-style outdoor dining as an option for your guests. It creates a cozy setting and allows guests to actually talk instead of just mingle. Even if you are having the intimate affair in your own backyard, there are so many possibilities that you can do to make your outdoor space beautiful. I hope these images create some inspiration for your lives.

Wildflower Wedding

Hello! If you live near the mountains of East Tennessee, it is likely that you will want to take advantage of the beautiful scenery in the area. With this being said, a wonder and cost effective flower choice can be wildflowers. Incorporating these natural buds into your wedding decor can look so fantastic, especially for the bride who doesn't want the traditional "wedding" feel. Not to say that they can't look great in a traditional setting and even a modern/Eco-friendly theme as well. Consider incorporating wildflowers for an interesting twist on the classic bouquet or centerpiece.
